Key Components
UV Lamp: Emits ultraviolet light C (185nm/254nm) to initiate photolysis and activate the catalyst.

Working Principle
The system operates based on two core mechanisms:
Ultraviolet Photolysis: High-intensity ultraviolet lamps (typically with wavelengths of 185 nm or 254 nm) break the chemical bonds in pollutants, converting them into smaller molecules (such as CO2 and H2O).
Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO): A catalyst coated with titanium dioxide is activated by ultraviolet light, generating hydroxyl radicals (·OH) and superoxide ions (O2-), which further oxidize pollutants to form harmless compounds.
